There's something different about Famima!! Even the idea of convenience seems somehow more convenient than your average corner store. At Famima!! it's a snacker's paradise, where you'll find everything from gourmet chips to Japanese crackers to your everyday favorites. We don't just have soup, we have soup!! - made fresh and kept warm and delicious in state-of-the-art dispensers.

Need paper clips, stationery or even a bag of ice to bring to a party? You can even access the Internet, download photos or short videos and burn them to a DVD, all while dining on your favorite sushi hand rolls, Cobb salad or pasta primavera.

Where It All Began.
Maybe you've noticed the abundance of Japanese, Asian and imported goods throughout the store. Right next to all-beef hot dogs rolling on the grill are dim sum-style steamed buns, filled with pork, chicken and mushroom, or bean paste. Next to the Godiva chocolates are chocolate-covered Pocky sticks. And beside the Glaceau Vitamin waters are Calpico and Ramune flavored sodas.

About 35 years ago, Famima!! started in a small Japanese neighborhood as FamilyMart. In fact, the name Famima!! comes from an abbreviation of FAMIlyMArt. Since then, FamilyMart has remained virtually the same, offering fresh goods, a selection of grocery items and popular quick-foods that can be eaten on the run or taken home as a meal.

Emphasizing a sense of hospitality, quality, trust and security, FamilyMart's nearly 13,000 stores are located throughout Asia - in Taiwan, South Korea, Thailand and China - all offering FamilyMart's trademark convenience.

Then in 2004, Famima Corporation USA was established with the idea to introduce the same FamilyMart goodness to America, but with a styling and upscale décor that is both modern and unique.
